Asheville, North Carolina

Hello all,

One of my first posts in my “Day In..” series paid homage to Asheville, North Carolina.

Unfortunately, last week Asheville suffered from the terrible aftershocks of Hurricane Helene.

Asheville is and was full of wonderful people who have welcomed tourists from all over the world to the beautiful blue ridge mountains they call home.

Many of them are still missing, the rest are still suffering, and all of their lives forever changed.

I encourage you to donate to individuals effected by the devastation if you have the means, but implore you to keep the people of rural Appalachian in your hearts and prayers.

I look back at my post A Day In Asheville, North Carolina, knowing it will never be the same, and as an unfortunate and very real reminder that the unimaginable can happen to you or I when we least expect it.
