A Day at Beech Mountain Resort, North Carolina

Welcome back Gallivanters!

This is my attempt at embracing the prospect of six more weeks of winter.

Whether you want to try hitting the slopes, or simply enjoy a hot cocoa while watching from the sidelines, Beech Mountain Ski Resort is calling!

First Chair Coffee Shop

I couldn’t think of a better way to start your day off at Beech Mountain Resort than with a cozy drink to get you warmed up.

I’d recommend visiting First Chair Coffee Shop first thing before hitting the slopes for some hot cocoa, delicious pastries, breakfast bagels and so much more.

Beech Mountain Ski/Snowboarding Slopes

Beech Mountain itself is perfect for both skiing and snowboarding lovers.

If it’s your first time, I’d highly highly recommend hiring an instructor to show you the ropes before attempting the Black Diamond all on your own.

Either way, you’ll probably still find me on the bunny slope.

Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria

After all that skiing and snowboarding, I think we need to carb-reload.

Check out Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria, not only for some of the best pizza this side of the mountain, but as well as a full arcade, mini-golf and live music!

Four Seasons Beech Mountain

Finally, I’d love nothing more than to relax by the fire and for the night and get some well deserved sleep!

The Four Seasons Beech Mountain offers beautiful, resort-style accommodations, all while being centrally located to our other activities.

This makes it the perfect place to rest for the night and get prepared to do it all again the next day!

I’d love to include pictures of me shredding the mountain, but I only have photos and clips of my major wipe-out on the ski lift.

You can catch me at Beech Mountain next time rocking my cutest ski apparel in the lodge.

Til next time!

-Allison
